      WHO BROKE UP THE BEATLES?

John said it best - something like -

‘it’s like the boys in a rugby team, you have to get married and leave the team”

I don’t think a single moment can be defined as having split the Beatles, they were teenagers when formed, how many of your primary school friends do you still see? Just the natural thing called life, growing up or whatever made them spilt.

          “I still blame Yoko” 😂

"The Boys" were in an extraordinary situation, though, not just "school mates who grew up" not hardly. They were the world's first Super Group or Super Band, the very first ever (and they had the best songs of any of their peers, fellow "boy bands," of any of them back then. The best music) and inspired  the enormous worldwide uproar which did die down some after "Beatlemania," but the Beatles retained their elite top dog status. They threw all that away. More importantly, they threw away their outstanding ability to create unique songs together.  Did their creative bond dissipate entirely or did they just need a hiatus, a longish vacation from it all? Instead they just tossed in the towel. At least they went on to create their solo stuff,  continued to be artists and musicians. It's not like they didn't care about music anymore.

I'm still wondering who broke up Johnny and the Moondogs?

The official line is that "business and personal differences" broke up The Beatles. By 1970, they had grown up and were no longer the "four lovable moptops", they were men. Time has brought to light that John bringing Yoko into the studio when the group was recording did not help. The final straw was a three against one situation when the other three tried to delay Paul's first solo album so Let It Be could be released, and when they signed with Allen Klein as the defacto manager of the group, also against Paul's wishes. That was the nail in the coffin.

So do I. No other wife or girlfriend hung around in the studio that much.

Exactly! Multiple reasons. If Brian hadn’t died, I think things may have been different and they’d have stayed together a few years longer at least.

I agree it was both business reasons and Yoko who broke them up.

Im sure that if John and George were still here maybe they would have had some kindbof reunion.

Im just glad I was not born yet when the Beatles split up I would have been heart broken about it. I was born in 1983 so I missed all that stuff back then.
