MPL Music just license their catalog to Kobalt Music.

      Surprise.

What does that mean, exactly? Is it like when Michael Jackson had all the Beatles songs, sort of?

That means he’s doing it for cheap and Kobalt is better than MPL.  That also means Kobalt gets credit.  Not MPL.

Still don’t understand what that means.

Less employment and more money for Paul.

That doesn’t answer our question. What is this deal with Kobalt?

                  You have to ask Paul.

It seems Paul’s Company is less than how successful Kobalt is.

                    Clear as mud! 🙄

Kobalt Music Group Ltd have been administering MPL's publishing companies outside of North America and the UK / Eire since July 2012 so a relationship has been in place for some time. I'm not up to speed with current events but I assume there must be news now of a worldwide representation?

Also Buddy Holly’s songs owned by MPL and Wren are being administered by BMG Music Workdwide

                            I want to go home

Take off this uniform and leave the show

But I'm waiting in this cell because I have to know

Have I been guilty all this time

That's the first thing I think of when I see the title of this topic.
