      I really love poems.....it's funny how they will just pop into my head...and for some reason....when I'm in the shower, they show up alot haaa....so I had to put paper and pen nearby because I've lost a few that seemed nice at the time.

      Fairy Circle

      Come my love?.steal away by the light of the moon. Meet with me in yon forest?.I am waiting there for you.

      Lay me down upon the moss?. inside the fairy circle and give to me your sweet kiss?tasting of wine?.so sweet and divine.

      By the light of the moon, our souls entwine?lovers who echo the long ago race?.whispers float upon the wind?.holy ground?answers found?.inside a kiss.

        In a Dream

        In the moment?..just before I cross into the land of sweet dreams?.I grab your hand?.and bring you with me?.we enter the world of the dreamers?.no boundaries?.endless possibilities?..my spirit flies on the current of music that floats in the air?? flashbacks to a summer day?.in the woods?.it comes back so clearly?.in a dream......

          I HEAR YOUR VOICE

          I can hear your voice?. It comes to me like whispers on the wind
          I hear your voice?.Gentle as the waves on the sand
          I hear your voice?.Sweetest melody of an angel
          I hear your voice?..the sound of laughing echoes in the night
          I hear your voice in my heart?.

                    SurSteven....Thank You....you are such a sweetie for those comments

                    OK....Here's one that I wrote last year after visiting an exhibit at the National Gallery, I believe it was called LOVE. Yoko Ono had a participatory piece in which there were colored post-its and pens and you were supposed to write a message to a loved one and stick it on the board....they were lovely to read....

                    I went back there on the last day to leave a note and the museum was closed but someone wrote a really nice note that seemed to be related to the exhibit. (I'm looking for the pic) and posted it outside the museum on the gates. I wrote the following poem to the note on the gate....I think it said something to the effect of being adrift.... Interestingly enough... this was before Paul's Electric Arguments came out.... so I had no idea that Paul also liked Lighthouses....

                    Lighthouse

                    Let me be your lighthouse
                    I will guide you in the dark
                    Let me be your lighthouse
                    I will point out all the rocks
                    My beam is bright and sweeping wide
                    Slicing through the darkness
                    Follow the light,
                    and you will find your way home
                    Follow the light
                    To the safe harbor of my arms

                      Here's a beautiful picture link of a lighthouse that I ran across in late 2007. It fits good with your poem and Paul's song. I posted the link here before at about that time. Am serious about your poems. They are beautiful, indeed!

                            JUST LOOKING 4 SOMEONE TO DANCE WITH

                            I long to dance across the Starry Night
                            Across the sulfur stars and indigo blue?.
                            A dream of van Gogh plays across my mind?.
                            Where are you?
                            I long to dance across the Starry Night?.with you?.

                            van Gogh is one of my favorite artists....I love how he uses the thick globs of paint....especially in his night time paintings....I love the stars....thick yellow globs of paint. I wrote this after visiting one of his exhibits...

                                And, speaking of the Van Gogh theme, I think you'll like this vid and song that I found and posted in a different thread awhile back, in case you missed it.

                                          Music is the Heart of my Soul

                                          Music is in the heart of my soul
                                          I hear the angels singing to me
                                          Music is in the thoughts that I?m thinking
                                          Emotions in motion, directing detecting
                                          Music is in the sights that I?m seeing
                                          Watching the birds fly, the smile in a baby?s eye
                                          Music is everywhere
                                          Making things right, no more up tight, joy of life

                                            FLORENCE

                                            Red tile rooftops over Florence,
                                            Stretching out so far
                                            Reflecting across the blue sky?.
                                            The dome of El Duomo points up high
                                            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                            Michelangelo?s David, larger than life
                                            Anticipation realized
                                            Stroll across the Ponte Vecchio
                                            Looking at the wares they show
                                            To the Uffizzi Gallery, excitement growing
                                            Up the stairs, turn the corner,
                                            Vision branded in my eyes?
                                            Botticelli?s Venus?.larger than imagined
                                            Birth from the sea?..such a delight to finally see?
                                            Flowers floating in space, blown by chubby cheeks of the Wind?
                                            held by an angel?to behold the beauty?. Of Venus?.
                                            This has been one of my very favorite paintings for many many years.... I finally got a chance to see it about 8 years ago..... I am sooo happy it didn't get burned. Such sadness to think of the ones that did.
