Kanye West is reportedly planning to record a David Bowie tribute album to continue the late singer's legacy.

The Gold Digger singer is said to have been getting to work in the studio and adding his Yeezy twist to the classic hits.

He's hardly the innovator that Bowie is. Bowie didn't just change music or the way we dressed. He showed alternate lifestyles. Not just andorogynous and bisexual and open marriages, though he did show us all those. He also showed us they could be presented with humor in his songs. (Many of his Ziggy songs are very funny) Kanye does not do this in any way shape or form. He does not expand the culture.

I remember when a nasty person tried to describe my triad to someone in an attempt to slander me. The person understood about these types of relationships and replied, "Oh, it's a Bowie thing" which helped put it into a context he could comprehend. I always loved that phrase and have used it to describe my relationship since. "It's a Bowie thing"

I'd pay money to see that. Are you listening, Kanye?
