Japanese fans make unusual choice for song to hear live May 10, Poll: Vote on the song you'd like to see Paul McCartney perform live! Even though Paul McCartney isn't scheduled to play a concert in Japan in the near future, that hasn't stopped Japanese fans from voting in an unofficial fan poll on the song they'd like to hear live. The runaway winner -- with over 300 votes at this site (no, I don't speak Japanese. We used the Google bar to translate) -- is "Move Over Busker" from "Press to Play," followed by "Silly Love Songs," then "Venus and Mars / Rock Show / Jet," "No More Lonely Nights" and "Young Boy." The rest of the top 10: "Listen to What the Man Said" tied with "No Words," "Getting Closer" then "Wanderlust" tied with "With a Little Luck." Interesting, if eclectic group of choices with lots of obscure picks that reminds us of the poll in Kiev that added "Mrs. Vandebilt" to McCartney's live set. And a great choice that was. We'll see if this one has any impact on Paul's upcoming live shows -- or at least the next one in Japan. Moderator edit: This thread has now been locked at the request of the thread starter.
