I just heard this week that the new wave of nuclear technology has designed nuclear piles that don't melt down under any circumstance.

      It's time for an upgrade!

So ... its no big deal radioactive waste is still produced, accumulating its growth spreading across the Earth lasting millions of years polluting our air, waters, and lands giving cancer to any living being that breathes it, drinks it, touches it, standing next to it or eats it and most will do so without knowing it.
I have been writing governments for decades about this and since I first got my computer in 1998 over the internet. Watch this Youtube 10 minute documentary maybe you will understand.

I'm with you, there have been too many foolish errors made - ah... building a reactor on a fault line (what were they thinking? Not thinking!) That one could still prove cataclysmic in another earthquake!! Nuclear winter, does that scare anyone? It's pure insanity. Yet we are not using free energy!!! Sun, wind and thermal power. There should be a huge outcry why this is not happening!!

          NO MORE NUCLEAR REACTORS!

Well then (Zen) please do sign my anti-nuclear industry protest and tell anyone you can reach to do so as well

well I guess I got ta say what John Entwistle said "You're all a bunch of wallflowers!!!!"

There are a little over 100 reactors in america...and over 400 total worldwide

We need to put nuclear energy on hold obviously until it is much much safer.

We would need 500 electrical plants to replace them which would most likely use diesel or coal...which are dirty fuels as well

I wish cleaner alternative energy sources could meet our incredible energy needs.

I live in one of the largest wind turbine electricity producing areas on earth.

                  God bless their hearts!

It only takes one to destroy the human race through radioactive dust, and rain.

Their is no such thing as safer. Not on hold

I hate nuclear power! It is so darn of a risk.

Its not even a risk it is a death sentence
