I seem to be having a problem posting on the board. It just takes forever and ever after I click on the submit button. If I click on it more times, I get the "you can't make a post so soon after your last post" message. But then the message I originally wrote is gone.
then, hours later, all my posts appear and some of them are two and three times.
Don't know what's going on.

It was a technical problem Kat.
We've had a long period where the board has been unavailable.
It's back available to us now, but your reports suggests that there remain teething issues.
Hopefully our host server is tracking the board at the moment reviewing it's progress.
I'm personally confident we'll be settled down and enjoying each others company again in a short time.

The current problem is with the e-mail notification system not the post submission system.
This means that when you reply to a thread someone is watching you get an error message suggesting the post failed.
However the post goes through properly. The error message relates to the system that notifies members by e-mail when a new post is made.
Do not repeat your post or you will create a second or third duplicate of the same post.
Browse to the topic you were adding to and you will see your post has been submitted.
The problem has been reported.

We've just had another period off-line, during which I notice that a message was posted reporting the "board was down for maintenance and upgrades."
Hopefully we're back properly now.
None of these earlier faults reported should be occurring now so please only report any issues that are current - i.e. happening now.

Everything seems to be working fine now. 
I started experiencing intermittant problems last Thursday with regards to only getting a white screen with the page not being able to download.Then from Saturday evening, i wasn't getting onto the boards at all
This morning i was able to enter the site but was getting 'debug mode' which was allowing me access to the boards / topics but not to any individual post.
Now that seems to have been cleared up so fingers crossed all the technical differences have been overcome now.
One moan though.......if these boards have been experiencing problems since last Thursday, why couldn't the main site have flagged up a news update informing visitors to the site that the message boards were having problems? They seem quick enough to flag up news when they have some product to flog but seem less on the ball when it comes to a public service announcement?

I agree with you Kestrel,if they let fans know there's a problem then they'd be less traffic creating problems.I like you had problems from Thursday lunchtime,and when i did get through i had the same issues as you.Communication would surely have helped them.

I get no e mail notifications??? only once in a great "Moon" one time, I was notified by my e mail? it was down here, since the Hurricane "Event"?? last week? did the storm take this site off line Martin??? In NY?
heck you don't even get emails regarding your posts being deleted anymore. 
well actually, I don't get any e mails saying I had a response from any post that I responded to. wish "I WISH WE HAD A LIVE AUDIO CHAT HERE!!! Typing is soo UN-PERSONEL! gee I feel Like Meg Ryan, in "You Got Mail". luv that movie. she talked about this kind of thing. being "Impersonel" and dry and "Un_Real this Internet thingys are!!!
if we had a live chat AUDIO ROOM, then we could have a feel of how real we really are here! everyone here is "Behind the Screen" you know what I mean???

I totally agree with Kestrel, if there are problems on the board why don't they post it on the home page. I checked there yesterday and it didn't say anything. I even e-mailed the admin for help, don't know if anyone else did, but if they post a little notice then less people would worry.

I was afraid I would if it continued. I was home sick and couldn't even access my favorite site.
also, I was all paranoid. I've got my reason to be, so I was afraid for the board and myself when I couldn't access it. I wasn't sure if it was just me or what until I talked to other fans in another group who assured me it was everyone. then at least I felt better knowing it would probably soon get corrected.

I'm a big fan of Brazil who traveled 500 miles in a borrowed car with the family who also love Paul with all his strength, just to get get close to the biggest idol of our lives, I got an autograph of the great and eternal genius Paul McCartney in Grand Hyatt Hotel on November 21, 2010 after of the show at Morumbi, but we can't take pictures of the most exciting moment of our lives, I come here humbly ask that the video was filmed by the great production of my idol, maybe a print of this moment in which I can believe I was ahead of the grand McCartney, thank with all my heart and I pray that compassion has a huge fan.
I need to prove to myself that I was face to face with my idol, but that only you can do for me, with filmagems Day November 21, 2010 in front of the hyatt hotel.
Please give this birthday present to a fan who follows him for so long time.
