There has been some confusion about contributions to picture and video topics and, after representations from the membership, we would like to ask that we keep these threads simple and on topic.
Please only post pictures into picture topic threads, likewise only video links to video topics.

The very happy woman pictured here with Paul is Nancy Shockley. The famous bass was once owned by Nancy's father, Bill Black, a bass player for Elvis Presley. Nancy had not seen or heard her father's bass since she had been a young child. Nancy first read about Paul owning the bass in Rolling Stone Magazine back in the late 70's. She then saw the bass in 2006, when a friend sent her a Youtube clip of Paul introducing and playing the bass during his PBS special, Great Performances: Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road. Nancy wrote to Paul about the bass and was subsequently invited to see it at his studio. This photo was taken during that visit in November 2007. Paul acquired Black's bass as a gift from Linda.
