Prompted by the latest "gift" to Premium Members I thought it would be nice to run a thread where those that attended can share their recollections of their sleep out to see Paul with those coming new to this live set.

This seems like an ideal opportunity to revisit the concert and the excitements on the street outside Ameoba Records once the news of the gig broke.

There were highs and lows - as always when such rare exceptional opportunities come along....

But I'm not the one who should be telling the tale......

To those new to the recordings and event - what do you think??

      Martin

Update - amazingly we do still have the live "as it happened" thread dedicated to this promo show here:

      Still makes hypnotic reading.

But it would still be lovely to read recollections of the event now time has passed - and of course feedback from listening to your downloads......

about to download it!!! That was a great time period overall. And Paul seemed to have gotten out of his dark period that has loomed over him for about a year. Memory Almost Full was a great album.

Haven't watched it yet, but just wanted to say, this is what Premium membership should feel like. The LA show, Live Kisses movie, both free downloads! thanks MPL

From the sound of this on the Main Website, the Premium Membership has been discontinued. "to make PaulMcCartney.com work better for everyone, we have been developing a new platform for the website. Fans will begin to see the results of this work from Thursday 1st November on the new site.

While we have kept the general look and feel of the previous site some features, such as the Premium Membership, will not feature in the new site."

Maybe they didn't get the response or membership they expected.
