      RIP Victor......

A great all-round actor who was part of most peoples lives here in the UK over the past 50 years having appeared in so many productions. Once saw him across a crowded room and as Beatle fan naturally wanted to gravitate towards him and chat but sadly I never managed to.

He was one of those men who was always interesting to listen to when he was being interviewed, who told such wonderful stories and brought a smile to your face.

Here's a little BBC tribute with a small piece from Paul.....

With the very thread title ..... I knew I shouldn't have entered this thread ...

but I was going to find out anyway.

        Rest in Peace Victor Spinetti
*enjoyed his bits in The Beatle movies

I saw him in other things and watched them too.

Yes, I know. In other groups there is a general RIP thread & whenever it pops up...you know the grim reaper has arrived...somewhere.

Another BBC article about Victor's passing with lovely words from Paul.....

Had the pleasure of meeting him at a Fest for Beatles Fans; what a nice man, and a terrific story-teller! If you haven't read his book yet, you should.
