Very happy with the fan pre-sale.  The system actually works.  Got two good tickets for the Quebec City show Sept. 17, 2018. Thanks Ticketmaster.

It only works if you are lucky enough to be selected or are ready to a pay a 500 dollar premium (on top of the 275) per ticket.

I was selected (Montreal 1pm presale) and I got zip. Congrats Birmingham!

I got a good ticket but had to fight for it.  Access code, etc never came but I manage to wrestle a ticket from them anyway.  Had to go on my old laptop to get it,  TM knows it .  Managed 4th row center ".....I’m as happy as a bird🐣

Was this Hot Sound Package? No code was needed for any VIP tickets.

Hot Sound.  I was into trying the Verification route but as usual PM.com tickets does not work as well as TM .  I wasted 30 minutes waiting for the access code.  Checked all VIP’s all wanted a code at first , this eventually cleared.  🤷‍♀️  I had set my location as Quebec on TM , missed the button to change back to US & lost a ticket in the 3rd row.  Thought I was sunk anyway so i went on my old laptop and got a ticket in a few minutes much to my surprise.  🙏

yeah, hot sound for me... no code needed, just money....

            lololol

I got a Hot Sound VIP ticket in third row center, very happy with it! Actually received the paper ticket in the mail last week and was overjoyed. Usually, they don't send the tickets out until closer to the show but having it in my hands just makes it seem more "real".

Like many others, I never received a code and was put on the waitlist. It was also frustrating not knowing the tiers/type of tickets/prices etc before they went on sale, and I didn't realize one could buy a VIP ticket without a code so I didn't get my ticket until about 1pm after I saw that someone else on here had gotten one. Still, I don't think I missed out on a better seat because I know the 1st and 2nd row center tickets are not sold and are reserved for upgrades, etc. I still feel lucky! With the conversion rate, the ticket is actually ~$600 cheaper than the NYC Hot Sound one I got last year. Good thing too, because I will be needing that 'extra' cash for travel, passport...not to mention the merch!  It'll be so great seeing Paul & band on the first night of this new tour, with the new Egypt Station songs and a completely spoiler-free setlist!

He is going to be rehearsing the show / tour here in Quebec City.

His team will be here tomorrow (Sept. 5th)  and Paul should arrive later (this weekend I guess) Article (in French)

sometimes they are slow to send it.  It should come from SLOTix, not from Ticketmaster. Check your spam filter for it.

                      Nevermind just got it

                          I can confirm!!!

That's great news, thanks! May I ask how can you be sure of that?

By the way: it seems you tried to post a picture a couple of hours ago, but it's not showing.

                                Enjoy the show!

A thought has just ocurred to me: is Paul going to do "Silly Love Songs" with the brass section?

By the way, someone on another forum (maybe the same person who posted here as "Steve") said that at least 3 songs were soundchecked with the brass section. I'm not sure I should say which ones in case it will spoil the surprise, so here is the link for those interested:

Oh, a live Horn section IS exciting.  Maybe the set list will actually change more than just 3 or 4 new songs!!!!

Each new tour lately has brought about 10 songs not played on previous tour, so yeah it better be more than 4.

Even if only a few songs change, just the addition of the horns on some songs really will "freshen up" the repeats.
