        Oh wow, thanks for that link! I forgot about that place and the Hughes'.  It was probably the main place you could visit, back in the early days of Liverpool Beatles' tourism when there wasn't yet any formal organization of any of the sites, and you pretty much trooped around on your own. I went to the 1983 convention that they organized at the Adelphi which was a lot of fun.  That link you posted also has a link to this short video:

          Great video! The only time I could have gone there was when my mom and I went to Great Britain in 1980. We didn't go to Liverpool, as we were on a coach tour that went around England, Wales and Scotland for about a week. The rest of the time we were on our own in London.
