        I was surprised at the above statement. I thought that Paul was writing that song in September 1962 after Pete had left?

          Yeah, you are correct. The article is probably bogus and/or has errors.

            I suppose to be fair Pete himself wasn't quoted as saying that so its more likely to be an error made by the writer, even if it is quite specific.
