Just a quiet walk
-
Just a quiet walk The trees were so tall The dogwoods blossomed so white and bright The lady bug lay dancing about the leaf The dew drops fell to the ground The frogs looked up as I walked by The lake rippled its circles forever it seemed through the water The silence of the churping winds Blew gently across my face No lound noises present to disturb the moment No traffic around to pollute the air The angry voices from the past so far away Escaping the the trials and tribulations of home Just a quiet walk Quiet around the mornings lake Small birds singing their good morning songs. Welcoming in the dawn A breath of fresh air A cool breeze The lives of the ones who lived here before Seemed t o be whispering through the winds It will all be okay Tomorow brings another day Just a clear mind After being so kind to walk around the quiet lake.
