What did the Sun say, lazy?
they accused the liverpool supporters of causing the deaths of those poor people...it was pretty obvious to almost anyone else that whilst there may have been some drunken fans that day that the police and the orginisation and conditions of the stadium were the main culprits.. the people of liverpool almost to a man still refuse to buy britains biggest selling newspaper to this day. infact mccartney himself is not looked upon in good light whenever he does an interview or piece with the paper . even the 'everton' fans are united with the liverpool fans on this.

So the Sun blamed the inept police and the stadium issues on the fans? What a ridiculous statement to make. No wonder the Sun is not popular in Liverpool.

i did this a couple of years ago on the funeral day of a great hero of mine who was taken too soon...tonight and for tommorow i want to rededicate it to the 96 liverpool fans who were taken away on the darkest day in sport i can ever remember in our country. my heart goes out to all the families who will never be allowed to forget,so i will never forget also.

No worries, Gary. A tragedy that should never have occurred.

Very sad. R.I.P. And today a player of the second division in Italy had a heart attack and died at the pitch with only 25 years.

Least we forget, Justice for the 96!
