My all time heroes from when I was a teeneager. Noddy, Jim, Dave and Don. (I still love the Beatles though) I have been lucky enough to meet them loads of times over the past 35 years and I even got a birthday card signed by Dave and Don about 3 years ago! They're a great band, totally UNDER RATED, coz most non-fans only know them for that one festive hit from 1973. There's so much more to Slade than Merry Xmas Everybody! Listen to some of the B sides and album tracks. Out n out rockers and ballards that rip your heart out. Keep On Rockin'!

I saw Jim just before Xmas. He told me he has another album in the pipeline, but it's nothing like Therapy. He said it would be released sometime this year but wasn't more specific. It took him about 10 years to do Therapy though, so I'm not holding my breath! My 2 fave musicans of all time, both bass players and both called James! James Paul McCartney & James Whild Lea. xxxxx

LOL! I'll try not to keel over mate! I'd hate to leave just now. So, what's your fave track on Therapy? Mine's "I wanna go out in style". Of his solo work, I prefer the things he did as "The Dummies," with Lou and Frank, such as "Didn't you used to used to be you". Happy to swap/trade Slade stories. I've got plenty!

where do i start, stand out tracks are, Heaven Can Wait, The Smile Of Elvis, Deadrock U.K, Could God Be A Woman........ forget this, i like the whole album the live bonus disc is a belter as well. I seen them twice in the 70's, but wish I had seen them in the 80's, I listened to a few tracks by "The Dummies" after I bought Therapy, I'll put them on my things to do list

Going to see Dave Hill tomorrow night in BIrmingham. He's doing a sort of Q&A session in the PMT Music Store. I'm really looking forward to it. Haven't seen Dave since December. K.O.R.
