Just arrived in Florianópolis and got my ticket at the stadium for the concert tomorrow. The concerts in Recife were great, and Paul said several expressions which are typical from that area in the country. The crowd loved it all. Paul played "Yellow Submarine" only during the first concert in Recife, not at the second. I was at the grid during both concerts (just a few meters from Paul) and asked for it very loudly during the second concert (along with several other people) but it did not work. By the way, has the word spread out in here about the fact the the first 50-80 people in line for the second concert were allowed at the soundcheck without having to pay for the Hot Sound package? I was one of those lucky few. I watched the soundcheck and got front row (standing) thanks to the generosity of someone who works for Paul. Just saw the guy again in Florianópolis, where I am today. Also, a man and his son (who were standing next to me during the second concert) were called to the stage. The mad showed a sign that read someting like "Paul, you only call girls. Please call us (dad and son)".

Nice goin 5th! Free soundcheck! Very cool! Glad you are having such a good time!
It was the first time that happened, due to the fact that few people paid $1,500 for the Hot Sound package. Just a few dozen people (no more than 60, I believe) who had Premium tickets and were in line for several hours under the sun were allowed inside. The soundcheck was great, quite a few interesting songs were played. I remember a few, but not in the correct order: Bluebird Sun Is Shining Midnight Special Flaming Pie (I Want To) Come Home Penny Lane Lady Madonna Petrushka We were not allowed to watch it, so they let us inside the stadium (next to the field) in an area with big walls around us. But we could hear it perfectly, anyway. It was great. I was especially happy about being at the grid, very close to the stage during the whole concert.

oh you couldn't see Paul? Oh well, clear sound is almost as good for soundcheck. Yes, a close place up close to Paul is certainly best for the show. Any pictures? Did you video any songs?

There were policemen in front of me that did not allow anyone on the field. Sometimes I stretched my neck and was able to see Paul, but there were other fans in front of me as well. They probably watched a bit more of it. I took a lot of pictures and made several videos. When I get back home next week I will share the best ones.

Hi, friend I'm sorry but I couldn't meet with you in Montevideo, but I have a question about Recife's concert, in the Rolling Stone Brazil edition, there are a news about how difficult was for Paul this first night, they said the crowd was talking and doing any thing except pay attention to Paul, also said the weather was extremely warm and Paul had his shirt wet...and that he seems a little out of control...I hope this was just one other "bad comment", and not the true, you was there, it's real or not...

It was hot and Paul was sweating, but the crowd loved the concert. It was great.
