Come on Frankie! See?? That's what I was referring to. Anyone in Argentina would have noticed I was making a joke.
I'm not from Argentina and I knew you were just joking.
And that's one of the reasons I love you very, very much, Nan! You're an asset to this forum.

You are a sweetheart Javi! Love you too! (if we keep this up they'll be telling us "Get a room you two!")

Joking is harder to detect in text. Emoticons might not be such a bad idea actually.

agreed! why are so many posts showing up multiple times?????
I don't know but those posters should be banned. "Once is enough" sang Elvis. Right, Audi?
Excuse me? I'm not silly enough to post something more than once on purpose. It was a technical glitch and Triplets kindly removed the duplicates.
Come on Frankie! See?? That's what I was referring to. Anyone in Argentina would have noticed I was making a joke. It's bloody obvious you didn't post 3 times on purpose and it's also bloody obvious no one should be banned for that. Gee, I better start using emoticons again.
Don't be so sensitive. It's only an internet forum.
Hey, if you dish it out, you need to be able to take it, too...

so no new rumors yet huh? He will be doing something with the refurbished piano, right? Maybe that will be a warm up for a couple of shows. And where was that? Somewhere in NY?

Paul will be joining Berry Gordy on September 18 at Manhattan's Steinway Hall for a charity event.

I posted this in the Broadcast forum, but didn't post it here, mostly because it was a "one off" show, so no, no guarantees of another show.

Just read that Sean Penn is organizing a benefit concert in Haiti to mark the 3rd anniversary of the earthquake there. I quote: "So far, he has secured Bono and Paul McCartney" and then says "pending their schedules", so who knows exactly what that means!

Sounds like he's gotten a verbal commitment but no fully executed agreement. Make it happen, Sean.

Sorry, didn't realize you said "in" I thought you said "for"...that's kinda strange to have it there...the country is in shambles, where would they even have it? It would make more sense to hold it in London or LA and send the moeny to them...they didn't hold the Concert For Bangledesh in India

Yeah, it seems odd to hold the concert in a place that still doesn't have housing for all of the displaced folks, and doesn't really have the facilities to take care of the electrical, etc. issues a concert of that scale would require...sounds like a great idea, just maybe not the most appropriate location?
-
Good if that's true that they give some help to Haiti, still so many homeless people there after the earth quake I heard the other day. But oh what are the odds of him performing Hey Jude there : , sing-along and "take a sad song and make it better"
-
Oh, please NOOOO Hey Jude. Does Paul normally appear at so many random events like this? I wish they were more accessible to his fans.
-
The benefit show is expected to be held at National Palace in Port au Prince, which will reportedly be torn down next year.
