service unavailable

Yeah, whenever I post it says IE cannot show the webpage or somesuch nonsense. Then I hit the back button to get back (to where I once belonged) and find that my post did indeed post! Miracle!

Kathryn O:
Just had a weird one. I went to post in the ...And Now the Time is Near thread and it took forever to connect, and then I got the Service unavailable. Of course while it was trying to connect I clicked on the Submit button twice. and of course my post got posted twice even though I had gotten that Service Unavailable message. I went to delete the one post that still had the little X for delete. It keeps saying I can't delete a post that has been replied to yet there where no visible replied. just thought you should know
Thanks again, Kathryn! Whilst you were experiencing the delay, Nancy R had posted in that thread hindering your ability to delete your post. I have now removed your duplicate post. Anita

This is really been a pain. I keep getting the HTTP 500 error. And the board has been REALLY SLOW for days. What the heck are they doing to it?
-
STOP THIS!!!

MADDENING isn't it? :

I've been able to report this today, even though it's a Saturday. With the recent tour announcement the server is being watched closely to ensure the main site is functioning properly. They'll take a look at this issue as well. They thought they had it fixed a couple of days back but it seems that wasn't the case Martin

Thanks Martin. People are giving up even trying to post when it begomes such a pain.

I discovered a free download on Paul's myspace page, but when I click the link emailed to me I get the "THIS PAGE DOES NOT EXIST" page. I'm assuming it's because of the update because I got the same thing when I went to the record store tab, even though that has since been fixed.

this is all such a mess. When I think of how maddening it was with the 'other' new site now they changed it to 'another' new site. It's like...who cares. as the Beatles said 'it's all too much' :
