P only know one person who could possible afford this I texted her the info..
-
it's up to $23,000 now. Well, at least we know how much it costs to actually meet him. Let's see, get a new car or meet the most legendary musician of all time? hmmm.... that's a tuff one. I think we have to take into consideration that it's for charity. But nobody is bidding on it for charity... they wanna meet PAUL mafreakin' McCARTNEY!!! and they have thousands of dollars burning a hole in their pocket.
-
On the bright side a similar auction featuring Justin Bieber is at a measly $5,250 http://www.charitybuzz.com/categories/14/catalog_items/318496
-
Man that sure would take a chunk out of owing on my house payment
-
Would you settle for $2,100, Paul?

I could scrap that together!!!!

Let's not forget that Paul is part of the 1% and they mostly like only other 1%ers. but there is nowhere that says WHAT charity this is supporting. That would be a factor for me as there are some Charities that I have negative opinions of and don't support (since they misuse the money pretty badly).
-
The first thing that came to mind was the movie Indecent Proposal. Sorry, but even if I could sleep with Paul I wouldn't pay for it.

Paul gives waaaaaaaaaay too much to ever be lumped into that crowd. However, I share your skepticism about a lot of charities these days. No institution is immune to greed and malfeasance.

Hi Kathryn, if you will scroll down on the charitybuzz auction page until you see a red box on the right that reads "ASK A QUESTION," you will find directly beneath that box, "The proceeds for this item benefit City of Hope." City of Hope: http://www.cityofhope.org/Pages/default.aspx

Agreed on both points--Paul has the MONEY to be in the 1%, but doesn't have the ATTITUDE of the 1%.

Yes, well I was thinking the same... j/k > I know Paul is off the market, no offense. I read about The City of Hope and it is really nice. I am sure that if I had ALOT of money I would probably bid for Paul, so I could donate. But I think I would donate in someone else's name who was a HUGE fan, to make them happy... I DO love the charities though, especially the new SAVE THE SEA TURTLES! Poor sea turtles, becoming turtle burgers! I couldn't read anymore...but signed the petition. Good Luck to whomever has the deepest pockets out there!

come on on paul who do you think we are? the rockafellers????
-
I don't know why Paul does this kind of things, maybe the purpose is good, but it seems to me that he is in auction, I don't like that. If he want to give money fine, but how do you do it is important to. Even if I had that money I wouldn't do it.
-
$27,655.00 That is ridiculous.
-
over $31,000 now !! I bet all,.. who have met Paul, are truly grateful!!~
