Yeah but giving priority access to ex-Premium members would give them the same money at the end... I mean, I don't want a rebate.. just priority I saw Paul 3 times in my life, the 3 times I bought my tickets from the website presale and I got awesome tickets. Thanks for that. But weirdly, all the people around us had bought their tickets from scalpers at like 600$ to 1000$ each. I'm fairly sure that some of those tickets came from the website presale... I hoped that the Premium memberships would have cured this injustice... but now it's gone.

To a scalper, the price of the premium membership was a business expense for the money to be made from selling the tickets. In Dallas in 2009, the people beside me were totally amazed that I had paid $250. They had purchased from scalpers.

Yep....5 months after losing our premier membership and the supposed compensation (as well as the responses) have dried up..just a "we're sorting out the website"! who's sorting it out - the same people who are dealing with the painfully slow 'OMG I'm going to be dead by the time they release all the' archive collections? If so we're in for a long wait!! C'mon...HP spent years helping - your fans have spent months giving feedback (as well as NON REFUNDED MEMBERSHIP MONEY - the word fraud mean anything to you?) I'm going to keep nudging, fighting and writing on here until we get a decent reply. C'mon guys!!!! Ps: Please remind Paul that he has fans in his home country (the UK!) when he's finished touring North America again and again and again!!!

I agree with Audi in that I hope the website itself can become more then sub par. Though Paul is the only Beatle left with an official forum. (George's closed) I heard fans on this site mention they like how Elton John's site runs ticket sales for the fans and dislike the way the Rolling Stones do things (such as charging just to sign up for their message board). Maybe MPL needs to check such things out like how Elton does things....

This isn't over. I think they're keeping quiet to try and make us forget about it, but that won't happen. Clearly no one who works for Paul has a brain (or a heart). I think we should all demand for a refund. Though I'd much rather have my membership back. Think of the stuff they could do for it now Paul's got a new album and tour happening. I call for an action plan. We give them a couple more months and if nothing satisfactory happens then everyone should contact them for a refund. Everyone. And maybe we should send off the petition to them on paper. They have to -realise- that hundreds of us are very unhappy at this. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

Sad, but most likely true! The goodie bag sure dried up pretty fast, huh? Anything else, PM.com? Most of us already had all the downloads you gave us. The only thing we don't have is the money we spent on the premium memberships...

Although it might not have been the most noble way to go about it, the way things have played out have only reaffirmed my belief that the entire "premium membership" offer was a test-marketing project... ...that we paid for. Expenses were higher than expected, and they yanked it, not anticipating the enduring blowback from MANY disappointed fans. I BRAGGED about the site. I TRUSTED this venture because I TRUSTED Paul McCartney himself. But it looks like this was run with the same callous, bottom-line principles as any other "business."
