Meat Loaf

Anyone else into Meat Loaf's work?! got into his stuff at secondary school early 90's, seen him in concert once not far from where I live. Bat of Hell series sold by the bucket load, and some of the songs are around the 10 min mark from the writing/production of Jim Steinman, not sure what he's doing currently?!

He's had health problems in the recent past, but -- after seeing his embarrassing endorsement of Mitt Romney at that rally recently -- I think he may have other issues, as well. It's on YouTube, but -- as you are a devoted fan -- I would discourage you from watching it.

Wouldn't call myself a devoted fan, far from it ! didn't see the Mitt Romney clip, thought it was only Clint Eastwood who had done a strange endorsement for MR !

I gre up on MEat Loaf in the early to mid 90's. My mum and auntie were serious fans and my mum even had a meat loaf tattoo. i used to love wacthing his videos and live videos. The music really was rather out of this world to me as a younsgter. All those classic songs! I remember we had all his albums including the more obscure albums from the early 80's and I'm sure I knew all the songs from his catalogue at the time but some of this I have forgot. I must buy BOH1 & 2 when I get the chance. Was painfully jealous when my aunt took my mum to see him twice in concert. I was only 8 years old!

I dig the 'Loaf. Bat out of hell is fantastic, amazing voice. Got his new album, they were offering signed copies for pre-orders. Plus I love Rocky Horror. (I really dig that Rock N Roll!)

Thank you. That is one of the funniest things I have seen for a while!

I like a few of his songs not a fan ... just like I like some songs of those further left, regardless of their political leanings
