Do I HAVE to join Facebook?

Do I HAVE to join Facebook? I don't really want to ..... I don't even care about being there .... I tried to look up a few products .... wanted to repair something .... and had to do something for the workplace .... every one of them asked me to log into Facebook ..... not one of them allowed me to continue if I tried to step around it .... I don't know ....

Is it a song?

Is it a song?
It wasn't suppose to be .... maybe I could put a few chords to it

That's happened to me before. (I never joined either.) Honestly, I tend to look down on companies that only have a facebook page, and not an actual site. Maybe I shouldn't, but... I do.

That is how I felt ... and not wanting to give them the business of the sale .... if I am not allowed to look around. *Sometimes they are one of only a small handful of companies ....and I know I cannot try to take my business elsewhere ..... if I have the option .... I do take it to their competitors.

You could make a phony account- but that almost reinforces our thinking. (There's no real accountability.) Boy, this is frustrating. Maybe try a search using the company name and add the keyword "phone number." Hopefully, they should show up in a directory.

Good suggestion. I actually did something similar before reading your comment...... I got a phone number and a "contact us" page.

I joined to Facebook just for to find people who likes Paul and Beatles, I don't like advertising or companies...I don't follow those things...just people. But my husband uses Facebook for his work...so if you think is necessary for your business, just do it! .

I heard Facebook is going to start charging for business accounts.....

WAtch sooner or later the CEO of Face book will run for office love doris

As if they weren't making enough money from selling everybody's personal information to marketing companies.
-
it is a huge gimmick love doris

When it is no longer trendy, everyone will go elsewhere.
-
I too am trying to avoid joining Face-ache... But keep on thinking of reasons to join, What to do??!?!?!
-
I don't think facebook is trendy or gimmicky. Not anymore, at least. Now I think of it as... the norm. When you have grandmothers confidently navigating their way around, you've pretty much solidified yourself as "universally accepted." - As for my reasoning, I just don't like the bombardment of things I don't care about, from people I knew 20 years ago.

Good news! They are lucky you had the patience to find them.

The only reason that I did is ..... there are on a few companies that had a part that I was looking for ....... otherwise I would ignore their business or go to the competition (and I am sure they know it).

I came close to starting something on this type of order ..... where I would put my cartoons on it But ...... not really Facebook ..... and of course I want all the credits and rights to them ..... I have to work on it and think about it ...... and come up with something just for the fun of it ...... maybe

There are tons of places that don't require one to be on FaceBook. SwagBucks is a great place to search, play games & more. Plus you rack up points & can use your points towards whatever you want. Best of all, it's FREE!
