Paul McCartney Comic Books

This is the first I've heard of such a project. It sounds quite fascinating. Anybody here got more info on it? From Reuters: "NEW YORK (Reuters) - Singer Paul McCartney's decision to leave the Beatles and embark on a solo career is the subject of a new comic book that aims to give fans a new perspective on the breakup of the Fab Four, its publisher said on Tuesday. The 24-page "Paul McCartney: Carry that Weight" is the third comic book by U.S. publisher Bluewater Productions about the iconic British band, which spilt-up in 1970." Hmm. What do you want to bet the whole thing makes Paul the bad guy? I just don't have a lot of confidence in the ability of a comic to offer much depth on a very complicated issue. It's amazing how many different ways people find to make money off the Beatles and Paul.

If you know it's supposed to be Paul, I guess I can tell - but at closer glance it doesn't really look like him.

OMG horrible

If this comic's author has any commitment to integrity and the facts, it will make it crystal-clear to the reader that: a.) John ended The Beatles -- not Paul. b.) Paul is the one who worked his heart out to keep The Beatles going -- not John. c.) Had it not been for Paul's legal-strategy, the four men's estates would have been -- and still would be -- in an even worse earnings-position regarding Beatle-related revenue. d.) Paul remains a brilliant artist and musician.

The one on the left is guffaw-inducing. Looks more like Moe Howard -- nothing like Paul! I've already got a bad feeling about this...

a.) b.) c.) and d.) Of course WE know all of that. I'm not sure I want to spend any money on this comic book to see if its author knows that. I've been disappointed too many times already.

Agreed. I do hope it's done well and - being centralizing on Paul - done respectably.

Paul is destined to be criticized every day until his passing of which overnight i'm sure he will become many of those critics "favourite Beatle".

Ouch. That art is _______

Horrible

The inner artwork looks better than the cover art. I will read it just to see what version of the story is being told.
-
Anyone find this yet? Where are they available?
-
I read it out of curiosity. It's horrible and barely tells any story. Ringo goes to see Paul. Paul gets mad. Has flashbacks about happy Beatle days then makes his "McCartney" press release. That's it. The art...yuck.

That looks more like Rick Springfield than Ringo!
