Ticket-purchasing advice
-
Hi guys! If anyone has any advice regarding purchasing tickets, I thought it would be nice to have a place where we can all share. This can be an overwhelming and tricky process sometimes, and it's nice to hear from those who have been through it and have some useful techniques. Thanks!

The only real advice is to figure out when the presales are (as many of us aren't getting the e-mails ) by watching the "rumors" thread, and hop onto your computer when the time comes. Oh, and be lucky! That's another piece of advice.

Thanks Actually I have another question: how do you figure out what all the ticket "packages" are like/how much they cost?
-
If we know what ticket broker is being used, we can register with them in advance, but I haven't heard what ticket broker this tour is using.

I have a Ticketmaster account, and when I just logged on they had his Seattle tour there as an upcoming tour, so I'm assuming it will be through ticketmaster....?

There should be something on Paul's site about the packages--if you click on a link to a concert that is already on sale, you might get the cost and the packages. Again, though, it's been written about countless times in the "rumors" and various "presale" threads, so keeping an eye on those helps.

My presale ticket was through Crowdsurge...not sure if they only do presales, though...

My ticket to the St. Louis concert in November went through Crowdsurge, too.

Sound check in St. Louis was through Ticket Master, not Crowd Surge. I hate Crowd Surge with a passion. I'd rather pay more money than use them.

I have used CrowdSurge (not for US shows) and fortunately had no problems. When I arrived at the stadiums in Uruguay and Paraguay my tickets were inside envelopes with my name written on them. By the way, this came to me by e-mail an hour ago:

Going to the link at Paul's site will probably suffice: http://www.paulmccartney.com/live/27468-out-there But you might also want to register with Slotix: https://slotix.com/tours/paul-mccartney/out-there/c563088dcc370108d5664dc54bebc514VwRlZFV%3D#toppromo

No prices, though. I'd like to know that so I can see if I can afford one of the packages.

This is the usual: Front Row $2,000 Hot Sound $1,500 Gold $650 Silver $400-something (this is the only one I'm not sure of)
-
Does anyone know if 9 am for Tulsa tickets means eastern time or central time? I don't know what "local time" means in this case.....

That's a baseline to work from, thank you!

I'll likely have to purchase via my iPhone... I'll be at work and my work computer at Epcot doesn't have a Windows side to get on the internet and my ticket sales side won't pull up non-Disney sites. It should work fine, I use my phone for these things all the time...
