Yippee! Section D...row 16....
-
Hello everyone, first time on these boards! I tried the fan presale thing this am for Austin, NO LUCK at all, said nothing available from 9 am on, all day. So I ended up getting tickets directly through the venue website... which was probably more expensive, but I was determined to be at this concert and with halfway decent seats!! I ended up with the first row of section 38, which is kind of the first arena level (raised), at least no one will be blocking my view. I am too short for floor seats, never see a thing except someone's back. I saw The Beatles in '66 at Cincinnati and I really wanted to see Paul again before he stops touring. So we are traveling from Idaho to Texas to do this, I am pretty excited! Did anyone get tickets via this "fan presale" business? I tried for both Austin and Seattle, no luck with either one, just said no seats from the get-go. I gave up.

I got tickets for Tulsa, but it took almost 2 hours. I've bought tickets for several of Paul's concerts since 2002 and this one was the most difficult. But, the good news is, you will not be disappointed!
-
Yes it was the most difficult. I finally got floor seats... Section b row 13 seat 7. But are you ready for this... I only paid 169.00 w/ fees. i am a little skepitical a little too cheap and good to be true.

Any explanation as to why the Memphis seating charts from Crowd Surge and Ticket Master are different? http://www.crowdsurge.com/paulmccartney/?event=31605 http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1B004A84F78C98E7?majorcatid=10001&artistid=735610&minorcatid=1 On TM, section F1 is on the right...on Crowd Surge, it's on the left.

When I saw him in 2010 I had a floor seat that cost roughly that same amount. It does happen.

For the outdoor stadium/ballpark shows.... the front fields on the far left (A/B), and far right hand sides (F/G) are cheaper than the 3 centermost sections (C/D/E).... It's not a mistake. But it's also a pretty sharp angle to the stage... not the greatest view. But yeah, they are about $100 less per ticket.... so it's not a terrible deal. B & F really aren't too bad.... but I wouldn't want to be in A or G. PS - I presume you are talking about Seattle..... If it was the DC show... their sections are numerical..... but the same basic price break.... Field 1-2.... & Field 6-7.... are much cheaper than Field 3-4-5.

And I'm STILL not able to even get INTO the site. Ever since the presale began, I have NEVER gotten in! It says the site is either undergoing construction or it's a bad address. I know there is no more premium membership.. what I was saying was that if it WERE still active, this is how we are treated? It SUX that the damn thing won't even work! Was anyone at all successful for ORLANDO?????"
-
Did you sign back up with a new email address? When it switched over, most of us signed up again so we could get in.
-
It's not the email address... I am getting emails, they never stopped. I belive I have 2 of them and neither one works. I was able to get a great seat with AMEX pw but i don't have an AMEX card. I'm just going to try when they go on sale to public. If I can't score good seats then they go on sale then I'm just not going this time. I will never get as close as I was in Vegas anyway, so if it ish't up front, I' wont be happy. Yep, I;m spoiled now lol
-
I'm sorry. I got an Amex card just for concerts and it's helped.

Here in San Francisco the local news is saying Paul is rumored to be signing up for our August Golden Gate Park Festival. Its Aug 9-11. Called OUTSIDE LANDS MUSIC & ARTS. I don't believe it, Paul always takes August off does he? :

Nope. 2010: Played August 1 - August 19. 2011: Played August 1 - August 4. 2012: off OUTSIDE LANDS is a good bet, although nothing is certain until the man is actually singing on the stage.

Yes I am talking about Seattle.Thank-you for replying. I am so excited. I wanted to get a little closer. I have been as close as row 10 and row 7 but for the price I am thrilled. I have looked up the price of tickets in the same area and they are all above $250.00 So i am happy.

You were right, Paul & James McCartney performing according to the line up announcement by APE Concerts, ticket sellers for the event.
