no... Right there, that's it, yes,

From Twitter, it appears that Denny Laine did not attend the Bafta showing. I hope there is a good explanation for that. I'm actually not a huge Denny Laine fan but it seems a shame that he wasn't there and I hope someone asks Paul about why. I know that Denny has a concert in the U.S. on May 18 but so does Paul. I thought they'd put aside their differences? Maybe not.

I was there earlier, but the autograph hunters ruined it for the real fans. Paul was willing to stop and sign and chat if everyone would stay calm, but they all shoved forwards and he had to go straight in. Still, cool to see him. )

I don't even understand the autograph business. I mean: Why would anyone BUY an autograph off eBay or whatever? The whole point of getting an autograph would be the experience of getting it -- not the actual autograph itself. Who cares about having a signature that Paul signed for someone else? Weird.

Exactly. They were trying to get him to sign little bits of plastic, which they then cut into the shape of a piece to attach to a hofner bass. They're only interested in how much money they can make from the autograph.

well that's just it...he has signed sooooo many, how can it be worth that much? maybe that's why Ringo stopped signing...so his value would go up.

You HAVE to, you will not be disappointed!! At times I found myself laughing with delight at the ridiculous vocals! They're so outrageously amazing at times, it's as if it's not possible for a human to open his mouth and that sound to come out! So many "pinch yourself" moments!

Just came back from a screening too; it's the day after my birthday, so as a treat I thought I'd indulge myself in a little Wings action. Had a lovely time. Was also pleased to see a few people in there; as it's a little specialist I had visions of me being the only one.
-
Just back as well. Fantastic and the sound was amazing.
-
What a blast I had but only about 10-15 people at the screening in Manchester. The surround sound was fantastic. I have this on a bootleg Dvd but the quality is not that good. The new cleaned up version looks ace. The film makes you realise how integral Denny was to the band
