It was an awesome discovery in my deluxe edition! Now that WOA has been released, I am most excited for these two releases (and the new album).

Were those two albums only listed?

If you mean were only those two albums listed, yes.

Don't let the "soon" part of that make you think that it will be any sooner than previous releases. The Band On The Run release included a similar card saying that "McCartney", "Ram, "Venus And Mars, "At The Speed Of Sound", "Wings Over America", and "McCartney II" were coming soon. The McCartney and McCartney II releases had a card that showed the other four as coming soon. Same with Ram. So this isn't anything unique to Wings Over America. I'm expecting "Venus and Mars" and "At The Speed Of Sound" to get released together, and will probably be somewhat like "McCartney" and "McCartney II" in terms of lesser goodies in the deluxe edition but more reasonable pricing (I hope). My questions are: 1. What extras are included in each? 2. When will this be released? Any guesses? I'm going to say next March, although I'd like it to be much sooner. 3. What will the card inserted say the next releases are after that?

I just hope with the 'deluxe edition' books that they get the recording infomation accurate this time. 'Ram' and 'McCartney II' were ruined by sloppy research.
-
They've been promising those two since 2010. After "Ram" and "WOA" these next sets have alot to live up to.

Me, too. After Tug of War, even though I like the albums, I could live without lavish remasters. But ToW and previous are essential.

With McCartney II all the songs are credited as having been recorded at Lower Gate Farm, Sussex in summer 1979 which totally contradicts the interview with Paul which is published elsewhere in the deluxe book. In that interview Paul rightly states that the album wa sstarted in Sussex ( 3 songs) but that the main sessions were recorded at his farm in Scotland. In the Ram deluxe book they reproduce the studio recording sheets (ie the 16 track identification charts) used during the sessions. So for example these show that 'Little Woman Love' was recorded on 10/13/70 (13th October 1970) with various overdubs on 1/21/71 (21st January 1971) although on the track listing credits they have the track recorded on 11/13/70 (13th November 1970). There are other errors as well although I don't have the time to check through them again at the moment.

Thanks for the info! Another leftover from the Ram sessions, Little woman love was recorded with a special guest. Denny Seiwell recalls: ?Paul told me that he wanted someone to play some slap bass on the track and I suggested Milt ?The Judge? Hinton, sixty-five years old at the time. We invited him to play on that session and his contribution on double bass was tremendous. Me and Paul were left speechless? He had an incredible energy!?**......and Milt Hinton wasn't credited in the book?????
