New Paul song--The Fireman collaboration
-
It's due out June 18th (some guy named Paul's birthday, I hear)! New song from Paul! The Fireman back in the saddle for one more song, at least! http://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/paul-mccartney-featured-on-bloody-beetroots-out-of-sight-premiere-20130610

YAYYYY
-
I know! Youth posted a picture to his Twitter that talked about a Fireman project--guess this was it, although I'm still hoping for a new Fireman album sometime soon, as well!
-
I wonder if he'll do that on Colbert?
-
that is one of the coolest things I have heard all year...
-
how incredibly refreshing! can't wait!
-
That just sounds like a remix of Nothing Too Much Just Out Of Sight. I was hoping it would be a completely new song.

I like what I've heard a lot, but, yeah, it's clearly a remix. A bold remix, nonetheless.

Well it is a new song -- a new song made from an old song. The track is not appearing on a Paul album. It's on the Bloody Beetroots new album. And the track is credited as such -- as being by the Bloody Beetroots "featuring Paul McCartney & Youth." Looking forward to hearing the full track on Friday. And as predictable as clockwork NME is already trashing Paul for doing this on Twitter and on its stupid Web site. If that publication ever had a kind word to say about Paul, I'd keel over. But then you have to consider the source: this is a publication that has been raving about Liam Gallagher for years. : : :

I'll take it--anything "new" at this point...

Seems there's a new single coming: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/videos/paul-mccartney-featured-on-bloody-beetroots-out-of-sight-premiere-20130610 You can hear a very short fragment, but it reminds me of Nothing to much out of sight, from EA.

Even though it may be a new collaborative version of a 5 year old song it sounds pretty darn good in a Fireman sort of way. I predict alot of diversity on the new LP.

I just listened to the whole song. Wow. I love it.

I thought RS was the only publication that "trashed" McCartney , just teasing.
-
@__yankeefan7__ agreed, especially back in the day, but RS seems to love him now though....
-
