Paul's generosity (Julian)
-
I was tooling around on FB and came across this image posted on Julian Lennon's FB wall. It may be old, but it's my first time seeing it, anyway: I don't know many superstars that take time out of their schedules to pass on kindness to others, but Paul seems to do things like this more often than not, like when he wrote a letter to George Michael while George was serving his sentence. What other examples of Paul "paying it forward" can we think of?
-
Is that a new message? I don't get Julian. When Paul didn't invite him to his wedding Julian got really angry and wrote on his Facebook that "Paul was never about love". Now he's back to liking Paul again? Plus, it doesn't really look like Paul's handwriting, does it?
-
I was thinking the same thing about the handwriting.
-
Don't know what Julian is trying to do, but that is definitely not Paul McCartney's handwriting, as several of us commented on FB.
-
Did Julian write that himself?

Did Julian write that himself?
If he did, he's clearly a very troubled person. But he's promoting a new album and it hasn't gotten much attention so he's certainly not above using his father and Paul to generate publicity. Sad, though, if he did.

Well, Paul definitely didn`t write it, and Julian surely knows that. I`m completely baffled by this.

They're actually comparing Paul's handwriting in an LJ thread and it's not the way he normally signs his name. now one theory is that maybe it came on some flowers written by either an assistant or the gift shop with the sentiment from Paul. but if not, then it's weird. Julian is troubled either way
-
Julian Lennon is a sun shining light and talented to boot. Handsome as well. <sigh>

That is a possibility, actually.

As am I. A few of us pointed it out on FB and about 2,000 other people are totally ignoring that Paul didn't write this.

Paul does have a whole office of people that could have hand written this for Paul, they could still be his words, just not his hand writing. Also, when someone orders flowers or gift baskets employees at these places do write notes for people as well. I'm not saying this is legit, but there are a lot of other factors people aren't taking into consideration.

Yes, I`m prepared to believe that this is the case. And it is remarkably generous of Paul considering Julian`s public insults last year.

well from the comments that am reading. my strong belief is even through it may not be Paul's handwriting ,its his thoughts and sentiments to Julian. And Paul has been known to be a father figure to Julian more so then his own father . so those words written to Jules isn't so farfetched.

Exactly, until all sides of the story are told, nobody knows what really happened. There are just some that like to rag on Julian for whatever he does because of personal gripes they think they have with him.

I see some people ragging on Julian for no logical reason. I think it is also very tasteless to bring it up right here at FATHER'S DAY as well considering we all know his father JOHN was killed when he was 18 years old, and that he just recently, in the past few months had to deal with the death of his beloved step-father. I just don't understand how some people can be so callous to act in such ways. I wish Julian the best in life.
-
I got ragged on when my dad died. One mean person sent me a note that said, "I"m going to crap on your father's grave." My father doesn't have a grave. at the time, he was in a bag behind our couch. (He was cremated). He's now in an experimental cremation wall at a Catholic Church. He'd like that idea of being part of a social experiment.

Hey_Kittay, Just being picky, but Julian was 17 when John died (Just like John was 17 when his mum was killed)

hey, that's cool. my math is so bad today. I just get the years confused when I think about it cause my Dad died a few months after John, and I tend to not think clearly on the subjects. You are right. 17. sorry.
