Say more! You know you wanna! Edit: Saw your post on another forum! Fingers crossed!
Lets keep them crossed, if a Japan visit is anounced, that will be our best chance of getting a visit down here by Paul, i have heard one other whisper .. but i'm not going to give that away, i've had my hopes raised too many times, only to have them dashed.

Can you imagine the hype if Paul does tour Australia...20 years after his last performance there!!

As we all know not long ago Paul had dinner with Ringo...I like to think some of the conversation went this way... "So Rich, what ya been doin'?" "Well, I've just come back from Australia and New Zealand...can you believe I haven't played there since the Fabs back in 64? - Amazing place, just loved it." "Mmmm...Australia? That' rings a bell? Better get back there and check it out. Been a while for me too..."
-
It's long overdue, so I hope he does get out there, and soon!

G'day and thanks for that. How are ya? R

He needs to do a Ring of Fire tour, all around the Pacific.
-
The more I think about it, the more I feel Paul will play Australia. From the U.K reference, there's no place on Earth more "out there" than Australia...right?

Yeah I'm hearing that! How many times have we been crushed now!

If someone had said to me middle of last year, Ringo would tour nationally I'd have laughed in their face. The thought of that happening seemed much more remote than McCartney returning. It happened. I will never ever give up, while they are touring and my arse points to the ground. Never, ever give up!!!

That's the spirit! And I was amazed no word of Ringo touring leaked at all. Nothing. No rumours, no leaks. Just suddenly, an announcement re NZ, then Australia. Kudos to all involved on that one. Pretty much impossible to do that in the world today and keep it totally in-house: especially when it's a BEATLE!

Haven't been back in a while and still nothing? How very disappointing. I wasn't going to look at his setlists on the offchance he did tour here but I gave up and was astounded he dropped one of my favourites - and I thought a 'must play' for him - from the set. I won't say what if people are avoiding the sets like I was.

We fans in Memphis had to wait 20 years for our return gig from Paul this year. Gotta feeling that he will play Australia early next year. They are way overdue for a return gig as well!
-
Don't forget New Mexico. It's been 20 years for us!
-
Wow!!!Twenty years! I hadn't stopped to realise it was that long ago. Can still remember that night Paul rocked Adelaide. Like all of us who have been on this thread for what seems like forever, I will never give up hoping to see Paul in concert again. Why wouldn't he want to tour here, the best country in the World???? Living in hope!!! : : Cheers Chrissie

Hey Chris, I just went back to page one. It was just you, me (I was under the name maccaluva then) and Belinda then. Then kazgirl came on. I wonder where they are now. We both joined in 2002!!!! If Paul could see how long we have been writing about him coming to Australia, maybe he could offer front row seats????? Cheers Chrissie
