I'm thinking of getting Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest, Rushes and Liverpool Sound Collage at some point soon, so I was wondering what you lot who've heard them think of them? Are they very similar to the last three tracks of Electric Arguments? Are there no vocals at all? I've heard there are Beatles samples on Collage...

Yes, the last three tracks on Electric Arguments is a continuation of Rushes. There are bits from Rushes in Electric Arguments. You absolutely must get the Rushes CD It's absolutely brilliant!! It's not totally instrumental, Linda is on various songs and then there are synthesized parts of words as well....It's an excellent album, one of my favs of Paul's. Strawberries Ocean Ships Forrest is the first of the Fireman series, very cool electronica dance music. Was so happy that Paul included the Fireman in his pre-show I really loved it so much!!

You're going to like Rushes. While largely ambient, the melodies and grooves are infectious. The tracks vary very little on Strawberries -- just a heads-up.

Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest
That's cool Oobu, I'll wait to buy the album and listen in then. I've just ordered Liverpool Sound Collage, I read that the Fireman is on that too. Anyone have a view on this? I'll get Rushes next and maybe Ecce Cor Meum.

I've been a Paul/Beatles fan for nearly 12 years now and I still have so much McCartney to listen to, the body of work is immense and probably unparalleled.

I've been a fan for almost 50 years and have so much stuff! (well, not as much as Beatlemaniac/Joanne!) I don't collect bootlegs, but I have just about every legitimate release of Beatles/solo. Don't have the Butcher cover album , though, or "All The Best" LP.
