Where things are at
-
Where things are at You wonder where things are at. They are in the hear and now. Yesterday, tommorrow and today everything is there as one would have things to be. Clowning and Frowning are there as well Yet smiling and crying always show there Walking and running are also so Yet one wonders where it all will go. Writing and drawing , are pretty to do Singing and swinging are nice to hear Dancing and prancing are fun to see What ever will become of you and me. Older We get, the wiser we seem The younger they are the wetter abehind their ears Learning and growing, Not always knowing Whether life and love are there awaiting. Seemingly times and places and things Are all about the life we have Working and playing, telling stories and truths , open from the mouth. yet we are all in the life her All in the same world Maybe we can see the truth behind The artificial glasses we all are given One day we can all meet In one place or another On line or in person So we have met here in a way. by Doris Ridge Mendlovitz
