Setlist.fm says ELEANOR RIGBY was in the show and also Mull of Kintyre, of course. Is it true about Eleanor?

Looks like as the tour progressed he's stuck to wearing the "Abe Lincoln" coat and ditched the blue and pink bellhop's jackets...
I know! And a greater move on a tour has rarely been witnessed!
Mmmmm...that tight fit pink number...oh dear.
It does look like an Abe Lincoln coat. I even thought of Johnny Cash.
I thought it looked something like the British used to wear, never related it to Abe. I had a jacket like it, don't think it was quite as long, fashionable if you ask me. I like it.

Maybe they are all heading to the Regina show. My guess is that Yesterday was not done with the strings in Winnipeg; I think that only happened in SF because the Kronos Quartet was already at Outside Lands.

I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't anybody have a first hand account?

Hi, Folks: Me and my family traveled from Minnesota to last night's Winnipeg show. We were 7th row on an impeccable night at the new (and beautiful) Investor's Group Field. I can report that Eleanor Rigby Was played, .and Yesterday was played without string accompaniment. Also, Magical Mystery Tour was NOT played. The highlight was Mull of Kintyre with the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band. Many in the crowd had tears in their eyes once those bagpipes started playing. I have footage currently being uploaded to YouTube...and will poast the links here shortly. Overall, the crowd was into the show...but, expectedly, much more low key than when we saw Macca at Bonnaroo in June....However, the show,Paul and Band were white hot the entire 3 hours!

It took me over a thirty year wait and a trip to Toronto to finally see him do that live but it was worth it, here's hoping you will as well. Whoever shot that Winnipeg video of him doing Mull above did a nice job of alternating their straight on shot with also showing what was on the side screen that included overhead shots of the Pipe Band as well as one view from behind the band and Paul. Nice job!

Thanks! It was difficult to shoot...as my emotions were getting the best of me! However, it is a memory I'll never forget...and am glad for the little Kodak Zi8 in my pocket.
