Paul Talks About Early Days 8 Years Before NEW

Talks about Early Days from 11:51-12:27

He just talks about his past. He is very proud of what he has accomplished. What about this song? That Was Me...

Good call. While "Early Days" covers Paul's pre-stardom era, "That Was Me" is about the fame. I would guess that "Somedays" and/or "The End Of The End" completes the trifecta, so to speak.

What paulmccartneyfan1 was saying was that Paul actually said the line "2 guitars strapped on our backs" and how he and John walked around Liverpool. It was as if he began writing the song Early Days back then (2005)!

ehh...I'm sure many of the lines in songs have been in a sentence before. I much rather like the trilogy of songs. Early Days That Was Me End of the End

I can understand that...but I would still agree that 'That was Me' was probably on his mind, or not too far from it. But I get the notion of wondering whether something he recalls in an interview that shows up later on in a song is intentional or coincidence - I can recalled an interview sometime near (can't recall if it was before or after) where Paul seemed recite the words to Vanity Fair when he ripped into Yoko for her 'Mozart/Salieri' comments while comparing John and Paul...but alas, I think we just look into these words too deeply at times

Early Days, The Songs We Were Singing and In Liverpool seem to form a trilogy to me
