Paul's RIAA Certifications
-
I wonder why Paul hasn't had his albums' RIAA certifications updated. Most of them only have the original certification. Dozens of years of U.S. sales aren't showing up, e.g. "Back to the a Egg" was last certified (platinum) on 18 July 1979.

As an Elvis fan, I can tell you that RIAA doesn't quite have its act together. There are TONS of Elvis albums that have gone Gold/Platinum several times over since their initial release/certifications, but the RIAA won't acknowledge those sales with much consistency. Frustrating.

Good point. Though I don't think BTTE will have passed the 2 m mark, I'm wondering about Ram,V&M,Speed of Sound and also about Wild Life, Speedway, mccartney2 and Flaming Pie all 4 of which officially only reached Gold Status . Surely These albums still sold over the decades. The only Multi-platinum certifications Paul has gained since 1970 are for Mccartney and BOTR. Surely some of his other albums Must have sold additional copies in all the years after their release.
