What about the "Brian is back" campaign in the mid 1970's?
-
Maybe an apology to the Fab 4 after all the "kind" words he had to say about them at their R&R HoF introduction.

Mike Love is a jerk and the real talent of the Beach Boys were the Wlison brothers IMO.

Ouch! I agree Mike was a jerk at the R&R Hall Of Fame, but he was super nice to me when I met him in 1978. Well, of course I was 23 then (and he was 37!) I know he didn't play an instrument, or write as many songs, but he was their lead singer and made their songs instantly recognizable. (all imo too of course)

I don't think that many people have nice things to say about Mike! Thanks for enlarging your picture, Mike always had great tastes in beautiful women.

Thanks! Get this--Mike told me about his girlfriend who died earlier in 1978 in a car accident. Then after he met me and went back to CA, he met another girl (and I think he ended up marrying her) WELL...I later read an article about Mike and those 2 girls and guess what? We could be sisters we looked so much alike! (He definitely had a type!) Mike actually called me a couple times and wrote me 2 letters! (Amazing to me because he was so famous & you know I think some really famous people just would be off in their own world and not even think to do that, especially in 1978 when there was no internet, no email, no tweeting, no Facebook!)

How did you meet him?
Really really really long story. I'll PM you later.

I wouldn't mind hearing that one too Nancy! Probably would have gone well with the beers consumed by yours truly last night

I would like to know how you got the picture larger without losing the DPI or did you scan it again? And that may be the first time I saw him without a hat.
