Anyone any idea what secret project Stuart Bell is talking about? http://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/for-whom-the-bell-tellsissue-26

hmmm, no idea, but I hope it's interesting. My personal hope is that it's the next Fireman album. .....with Dave Grohl joining in?
-
I wonder if the mention of the Internet reaction to Paul playing Appreciate and On My Way to Work foreshadows a change in the set list? Hey, I can dream.

Yeah, good suggestion. With or without David Grohl, a new Fireman album would be cool

Is it a secret when this secret project or whatever is going to not be secret?

No offense to Dave Grohl (who I like) but I don't see him as Fireman material. I'd rather Paul collaborate with more unusual artists for his Fireman stuff -- someone more along the lines of Youth. Like Damon Albarn or some other artist less conventional and less "rock" than Dave Grohl. Plus I just think it would be nice to see Paul work with someone entirely new. And I hope that's what this secret project involves, Fireman or not.

What about an album with Bob Dylan and Beck on some tracks?

I just don't think their voices go well together... Tom Petty yes, Paul, well they're too different, aren't they? Sorry Bob...
