Oh, that reminds me, Seuss! I meant to give you a case of Runza's for you to take back with you! lol You've had a very nice run over these past 9 months or so here in Lincoln, Seuss. I'm glad it's been good for you! maccascruff--That's great that you do get to travel and support your team. Obviously I've been to Denver plenty of times. Saw my first 2 Beatles there ( Harrison in '74 and Paul in '76) and got family there. Been in Boulder for a couple of football games and loved it! Such a beautiful place, it's really amazing. I might be heading into Seuss's territory this November for a game. And you got through all this time spent in Lincoln! lol That's great! Maybe I'll see you out there when Nebraska and CU play in Boulder in 2019. I sure do miss the old Big 8 days. Oh, and LiveForever, that Alex Henery kick was actually here in Lincoln. I was there and will NEVER forget that. All in all so glad that everyone had a good time here in our little city of Lincoln and that Paul and the band especially seemed to enjoy themselves. What a performance that was!

Lincoln was awesome . . .I hope Pinnacle keeps scheduling concerts unlike Hilton in Ames which seems to have stopped doing that : If I'd gotten my album signed there, maybe I would have just moved on over . . .oh wait . . .too far from Iowa City OMG - we passed a closed RUNZA shop on the way out of town . . .I can still taste it! LOL! Brady - you know there's an open invitation for you at Kinnick anytime ! Can probably even set you up w/ 2 spare season tickets if you let me know early enough I have strong family ties to UC-Boulder also . . .I love Ralphie . . .the real one - ha ha! Forget 64 - please come back and visit us in the of the country anytime! Have a fab, fab time in KC tonight. I'm pea-green w/ envy . . .but in a good way! #OutThere #Lincoln

I miss the Big 8. Don't feel close to the Pac 12 in the least because in the Big 8, Big 12 days, it was easy to travel to away games. No longer is easy. Plus I now live in Hawkeye land, no longer in beautiful Boulder. Suess, I was going to ask if you had Boulder ties. My women's basketball season ticket used to be by someone with your maiden name and he had worked many, many years for the athletic department. Lovely couple. She and I shared the same opinion of little kids pretending to be much to adult during dance routines at halftime. Wink I actually enjoyed Lincoln, although I don't think I could ever go there again for a football game. Pinnacle is gorgeous. I liked that you can get to the floor without the hassle of steps. The floor seats were comfortable while I was pouting about my seat location. Laughing Security kept people from bothering me because I was on the aisle and people kept coming up and trying to push me aside to take pictures. After somebody tried to video an entire song, I asked security to stop them and told her what I paid. No more people came up for just one or two pictures. Lincoln was an easy drive for me. Would have been from Boulder also. I've always been impressed with how NU fans support their team in any sport. They have bus trips to volleyball matches. Amazing. Loved when Paul made the comment that he was right here in the middle of America.

I just noticed your new sig lines - did I miss a story?
No, you didn't miss the story. we drove from Lincoln to Kansas City after a bit of a party night so I didn't get a chance to write anything about the meet and greet. Due to thinking I could party like I use to.A board member mentioned that I CAN charity had an auction for children with special needs to meet Paul, sound check and first row seats. We got it and picked Lincoln because we thought that it would be a smaller VIP meet Paul venue and it was. It was a great experience and you were right a few posts back about his memory. An unforgettable experience!! Thanks for asking!

I think anyone can get a chuckle out of this from the Lincoln show. This is the afore mentioned moment when my daughter could no longer contain herself.

I found out about Paul's memory in 2002. He was able to call me maccascruff at the Adopt-A-Minefield gala after seeing me down front with no packages 8 times on the tour. I was dressed up and he still recognized me. Had no idea of my real name but he had seen the same sign 8 times and put 2 and 2 together.

That amazes me, he sees so many people!
