Recommending albums!!

Pleas, recommend me some albums. Modern albums (from 2010 to this time). I have the need of hearing modern music... I'm stuck in the past!! If it's possible, I would like to hear new music from old artists. You know, like 'Songs of Innocence' (U2), 'Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar' (Robert Plant) and 'The Next Day' (David Bowie). And of course, like 'New' from sir James Paul!! that's the way, new/modern music from old glories.

Two come to mind right away. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Hypnotic Eye, and Bruce Springsteen - High Hopes. Both from last year, both excellent.

I still love Arctic Monkeys AM And the ST.VINCENT Album
-
Two more from 2014... For a new album from a 60's band, Chicago XXXVI is great! Another is Heaven and Earth from one of my all-time favorite groups, Yes.

Thanks guys!! I will listen of them!!

That's a tragedy, is he ok otherwise, I hope? He'll have to let the Edge take over! Coldplay's and Mark Ronson's new albums are good!

Wall of voodoo call of the west.

"Ys" by Joanna Newsom. It's one of my favorite albums the last ten years. I think she is a major musical talent, she play the harp and sing, a wonderful composer, epic with plenty of originality, Van Dyke Parks who worked with The Beach Boys /Brian Wilson on "Smile"and sessions with Ringo Starr, is the director of the string arrangements.

give Soutside johhny and the asbury jukes greatest hits a listen. The album is that good I buy it for my friends as a birthday present and they all end up living it. They are not a new band but the albums great. For something new check out the Courteeners or if you want something Beatle inspired try the hummingbirds

Heard somewhere ELO are recording a new album and they will tour again also. So that was the reason they were on the Grammy's!
