Best bass line?

Talking about his post-Beatles career... 1. Silly Love Songs 2. Goodnight Tonight 3. Time To Hide 4. Morse Moose And The Grey Goose 5. So Bad

See Your Sunshine is one my more recent favorites. Brilliant bass playing!

"Best" is entirely subjective, of course. I have no objection to the tracks suggested, but I would add that "Driving Rain" -- whatever one thinks of the album's overall merits (I'm in the middle, personally) -- is filled with great bass playing. I'd cite From a Lover to a Friend, Magic, and She's Given Up Talking as particularly outstanding examples of how Paul's bass can add to the overall emotional mood of the song.

Of course is subjective, it's about the things that make you feel!!

Subjective or not, it's nice to see some activity here for once. Everything about art is subjective. I like his playing on See Your Sunshine

I will go out on a limb and say that So Bad isn't actually Paul playing bass...listen to it closely and you will hear that it's a fretless bass, which to my knowledge McCartney never played. My money is on it being Stanley Clarke

?Universal Here, Everlasting Now". Piano to open/end the song, but the bass/percussion in the middle of the song is amazing. Great album.
