Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons
-
What do you guys think of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons? I think they're epic! And Jersey Boys is the best musical I've ever seen (with Les Miserables and We Will Rock You very close seconds) Also, I just realised (way too late!!) that they're going two nights at the Royal Albert Hall, a venue I love having seen Paul there very recently. I'm soooo annoyed it's pretty much sold out! I need a ticket, but where?!

Great music, very powerful falsetto.

They Are Great!

I saw Jersey Boys twice on Broadway......excellent show, excellent music

I love how after a show is sold out tickets can still be dropped nearer the date. I managed to get a ticket to see them at RAH!

Frankie is coming to Milwaukee next month. I would love to see him again but I don't want to go by myself. Here is my favorite Four Seasons song:
-
I like "Sherry Baby" because I have a wonderful unique one of a kind sister named Sherry (her nickname is Shay Shay). Also like the song "Oh Sherry" (probably better than Frankie's). Some of Frankie Valley and The Four Seasons songs I find somehow embarrassing. Because of the lyrics and his corny falsetto. The general style. So I wouldn't fancy Eastwood's musical much. It's doubtless much superior to "Rock of Ages" though which I saw again recently. I'm sure it's very well done, director Clint Eastwood is quite talented. The Four Seasons are too, if you like that sound and style.

Several great songs.

I saw Jersey Boys in Sunderland last December & fell in love with it. Amazing show!! Seeing it in Dublin Easter weekend Hoping to see Frankie Valli in Dublin in July xxxxx

I have seen Frankie a few times in recent years he puts on a good show but he has a lot of help with the high notes. He has a great back Catalogue so it's alwys a decent show. He tends to start early and wraps it up around 10pm. I'm guessing it's an age thing and he has had a few health scrapes that have seen him cancel a few show lately. I think the original band must be up there with the true legends of music. Another thing I like is the jersey connection Bruce. Jon Bon Jovi. Southside Johnny to name a few

I will be seeing Frankie in my hometown on August 9! Lots of opportunities for UK fans in the next month as well. http://www.frankievallifourseasons.com/shows.html

I have always called Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons the East Coasts answer to the West Coasts Beach Boys and vice versa!! Both are great bands with great singers that sang great falsettos!!!!
-
Can't say I've listenbed a lot to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. I think he is on the "Grease" soundtrack from 1978. It will actually be the only Frankie Valli in my collection. I should probably have had a greatest hits from his glory days?

McCartney owns some of their early music publishing and hits.

Frankie was awesome last night. Like Paul, he loves to perform and loves his audience. He also was pictured with Paul in the opening montage.
