3D printed Paul Figure
-
They've made available the file to 3D print your own mini-paul figurine. However, like most people (I assume) I do not own a 3d printer. On the main site, it mentioned using an online site to print it for you. So I found one and thought it was set up great. It generates an image (movable) of what it will look like once finished. The site has great reviews and thought yall might be interested. It costs about 48 Euro (50 Dollars / 35 Pounds). http://www.sculpteo.com/en/print/paul_mccartney_3d_figure-3/kb3UD8ds There's other sites that provide this service as well, this is just the one I used. [Edit] I ended up going with a different site because it was cheaper and appeared to have more detail. The site doesn't have as nice a preview, but it's about half as much (25 Euro). I had to set up an account to upload it. I don't want to appear to be trying to make money off this because I don't. I don't get any form of payment from the site. In order to use their services you have to set up an account and when I make the design available to anyone, it says that it's "my store". IDK why but thats the only way I could make it easily accessible to yall. I'm just saving you a few steps. http://www.shapeways.com/product/HAGSB27W8/paul-mccartney-3d-figure?li=user-profile&optionId=56096850

I'd rather have a life size Paul.

Same here, honey

Shouldn't the Paul figure being playing a guitar for it to be worth it at all?

That's a good point... I think it should too.

Ditto! A clone from about age 26 or 27!
-
Very cool but I'd like mine full size & in full color.
-
Very lifelike. Right down to his bow legs and "don't know what to do with my hands" pose.

Hi guys Is there Anyone on here that can print and sell me one of these 3d printer statues of sir Paul? Would really love one but obviously I don't have the thousands of pounds to buy a printer! Is there anywhere I can get one or request one? Thanks!
