Spy's or Spies like us and tea

Well that's a blast from the past. Great song great video and superb vocal. I remember Paul promoting the song on British television the strange thing was Paul was explaining that is a master at slerping his cup of tea ( slerp or sturp bring the noise you can make when drinking tea ) Paul gave an example of how long he can slerp and how loud. Here is my challenge I can't measure the loudness but I just did a 6 second slerp. If you can remember how long Paul lasted or if you have a link to it please share. Also how long can you do it for and it has to be tea

FYI, It's Spies Like Us. (and "slurp")

Always loved the song, it's a piece of music with the McCartney magic, I would not placed it on a collection with essential McCartney but it's still a song I would like to have heard a live version of. I guess Rusty Anderson could have done something heavy on his solo guitar.

I fancy its sound too, really hops n' bops, upbeat. Makes us feel good aye Hendrix, although some call "Spies Like Us" just a guilty pleasure Just a frivolous feel good lightweight thingie It's a smallish jewel, but still a gem

I was listening to this song when I first heard about the American spy plane in China thing in 2001. Ever since then, I always think of that when I hear the song.

Yes, from September 1985, mid-way through the PTP album sessions. Doesn't seem possible really that its nearly 30 years old !!!
