Looks like he stuck to the script, for the most part. Which is cool. South Korea got a killer first McCartney concert. Maybe he will go back in a year.

Paul and the gang absolutely brought it home. Incredible show. Can't really put into words now. I'll post some pics and stories later.
I'm happy for you. Looking forward to reading about your experience!

Absolutely. Why not? He could go back when he next returns to Japan... in what, 6 months? Seems to be the norm.

I was very lucky yesterday. After a delayed flight from Amsterdam, I travelled to Jamsil rather easy by bus, and got my tickets within five minutes. It was a great experience to be at a McCartney show outside Europe. The Korean audience went mad when McCartney came on stage, and remained very enthousiastic throughout the concert. It was very nice that they also liked and knew all the New songs. We all sang 'out' during Queenie Eye, and McCartney gave us a big smile. Special moments were the actions of the Korean Beatles fan club. They prepared thousands of red hearts which were shown during The Long and Winding Road; it was really moving. And before the concert, they walked around with banners 'Let it be: flash on mobile phone'. At least 40.000 Koreans listened, and the stadion was filled with light. In both songs, Paul was a bit emotional. Another special moment was when the crowd started to sing the chorus of Hey Jude again, and the band joined in (with the Day Tripper instrumentation). I am sometimes a bit critical about the setlist (for instance, I really don't understand why Paul plays All together now, a real throwaway). But here in Seoul, I understood that is was balanced, and everybody really liked the combination of rock songs, acoustic songs, piano songs, Beatles, Wings and solo. I will have the opportunity to see McCartney again in Amsterdam, and I will take my two sons (8 and 10) who are fans too now. They will really like the setlist. And for me, Eight Days a week, New, Queenie Eye, Save Us, Being for the benefit (which I liked much more than I expecyed), Lovely Rita, All together now, Hi Hi Hi were also new (a good score). A very very good show to add to the list! Rotterdam (1989), Rotterdam (1993), Antwerp (2003), Arnhem (2003), Arnhem (2009), Cologne (2011), Rotterdam (2012), Seoul (2015)
