Sold Out Shows?

Curious to know what shows have sold out. All of them? Some? Which ones?

The upcoming EU tour? None. DawBell will be declaring it as "sold out" a few months after everyone has forgotten about it.

Liverpool was sold out up until recently when more tickets were released.

I checked Charlottesville and Columbia, SC and both have tickets available. The pricey ones!

Philly is sold out. The lower price ends are sold out in Charlottesville and Columbia. Paul should really lower the prices. $50-$150 would sell like hot cakes anywhere for him, rather than $60-250. He can only sell the big $$ in the big markets. Maybe he could also start playing smaller venues? Also, that's not surprising about the Euro tour. No wonder he doesn't tour there as often.

Not our problem we aren't eager to spend 100, sometimes even 200 euro on a night out. And not for a venue gig, no, you still gotta stand in a big arenas, sometimes you can't even stand :'). A gross revenue of 1 - 3 million euros anyway for these kind of arena gigs, and it's still not enough?

I believe the first London show at the O2 is virtually sold out, but there's still plenty of tickets for the second one.I do think the heavy price of tickets doesn't help, especially when tickets for £139.00 are at the back of the venue. I checked on Ticketmaster UK as an experiment to see if i could get a ticket for Take That show on the 4th June as it said it was sold out, but i went on and tickets were available, and plenty available on AXS.com too, funny that! They're playing 10 shows in June at the O2 Arena, London and two have sold out, but eight have plenty of tickets left, i think they have been a little over ambitious! Fleetwood Mac are playing 5 shows at the O2 Arena, London and none have sold out at all, a couple have a few left, but the rest have plenty of tickets left. Strange how with such high prices artists think they can sell out numerous shows, when people in general are watching the pennies!

I don't get why Fleetwood Mac would schedule 5 shows. Why not schedule two and see how they sell and if there is demand then add a date.

Columbia SC is not exactly an affluent city so it does not surprise me that people are not buying up those $250 tickets.

I bring it up because it is often brought up that McCartney won't play New Mexico or Australia because he either can't make money in such places and/or he can't sell out a show in these places. Clearly he WILL play markets where he doesn't sell out automatically or where he struggles to sell out, ie Charlottesville and Columbia, and most European markets. It is confusing!

Remember that Paul gets a guarantee, so he gets paid his money whether the show sells out or not. It is the promoter that will lose money if ticket sales are weak.

Good point. Those markets likely have a promoter willing to take the risk, whereas Albuquerque does not. Not sure what the deal is in Australia, could be as simple as promoters there know folks will not pay those ticket prices, so they will lose money.

I think there's little doubt that tickets are sluggish for most artists at the moment I can't really Paul's concerts being total see outs this time round, but he's in good company it seems Take That have for my money really over reached themselves trying to fill these big barns is a big ask for more than a couple of nights that's for sure. As for Fleetwood Mac I suspect they've scheduled the shows with the Isle of white festival in mind and I suppose the draw of Christine mcvie would have played into the promoters thoughts but again they've over egged the pudding, why now take the show to other venues in the UK rather than play to half empty houses in London?
