Thanks Nance.

Typical isn't it Nancy? You post a Beatles song largely unheard and it garners one response. Yet dozens of inane threads on this board attract some of the dumbest replies you'd ever see in a month of Sundays.

Thanks Robert!

Great find that Nancy, thanks

Hey welcome aboard, cor blimey! Plenty of room on this bus!

But what I want to know is what colour was the shirt he was wearing when he recorded this? And did his trousers match? Any pics of the trousers? :

Interesting - thanks for sharing! Sounds just like the American band The Byrds (pun intended?) with the jangling guitars. This version feels like it should be on 'Rubber Soul'. I much prefer the harder electric version on Revolver.

i'm so mad that you forgot the hair! What was his hair like at the time, that is the most important question that can be asked. How could you forget that - call yourself a fan?

His hair was fine way back when...and I am sure Nancy has the pics to prove it. That is her favorite time period. And as far as matching shirts & trousers I think that info is in Audi's thread.

Ahem...that's not my favorite time period, although Revolver is my favorite album. As far as looks, my favorite is late '66 to mid '68 (for Paul) John, only until late '67. I hated his long hair period from after India to whenever he finally cut it off.

Do you mean parody? And if so, I don't get what you're talking about. If you mean we've gone OT, I get it.

Aye i did a typo, sorry - this keyboard is awful! But yeah i just meant the thread was being praised for being serious about music rather than fluff, so we joked about his hair and clothes.. yet that then became the main topic!!
