John Lennon word association

Just saw this on a Facebook page. John did a word association in 1976. His answers about the other Beatles were interesting http://gothamist.com/2011/12/17/john_lennons_word_association_list.php

Nobody else finds this fascinating?

OK, I'll play! It shows to me John's ability to immediately strip everything to its essence. He didn't mince words. And while he wasn't always the best judge of character (see: Magic Alex; some might even say Yoko), he pretty well gets it right here! Referring to George as lost is the most fascinating to me.

What was going on with George at that time?
-
He lost the plagiarism trial over My Sweet Lord. Maybe that's it. Or John thought he was "lost" in all the Indian stuff?

Could be, Nancy. Or perhaps it could be John's assessment of the state of their friendship at the time. Wasn't this around the time John was refusing to sign final papers to dissolve the band?
