Hi Could someone help please. We are going to the Herning concert - flying to Aarhus. All hotels near the Arena are fully booked. Does anyone know of a hotel that's relatively easy to get to/from the Boxen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. M

Trying to bump this up to the top. Lets hope someone reports about this show!!!
-
WOW, I guess no one even went to this from our group! Lets hope womeone will write in and say something!!!

Macca was so freaking fantastic! One of my fave shows ever! I have stayed away from the forum the entire tour, so was very surprised at the setlist..
-
So glad someone from here went and had a fantastic time. That is great. We are lucky to have Facebook pix to show the rest of us the show too

Same setlist as in Norway, but I most say he was so sharp and I was truly surprised about the setlist, great different versions of a lot of the songs and he was so interactive with the audience..
-
When he played what sounded like the intro of Winding Road, people were happily surprised to hear a piano version of Here, There and Everywhere and postponed the planned bathroom break..the acoustic versions of Love Me Do and You Won't See Me were great and In Spite Of All the Danger have never sounded better..I was so surprised to hear A Hard Day's Night as the opener as well as Can't Buy Me Love from the same album as number three..So great he played Letting Go and for me it was the first time My Valentine worked live, my mom was very moved to hear it for the first time.. My granddad died on Friday, so the show was very emotional for me, which made me cry during Here Today.. Funny to notice the great reception when Paul turned around and wriggled his ass during And I Love Her. And funny to see that people didn't seem to know Queenie Eye, but gave a great reception to New. All the younger people stood up and partied during 4,5 Seconds. Some people, including the guy next to me kept sitting down as a protest, which made me party even more. Funny to go to a 74 year old guy's concert that can spark these reactions, that is for me what life is all about. All in all, one og the greatest shows I have seen Paul do, and criticism of him and his shows won't bite me ever again, because now I have really seen the light!

Thanks for the great review

'Here, There & Everywhere', absolute highlight of this tour. His matured voice adds so much character to it. Sounds very fine on this recording of this gig.

Thanks for your review, it's so nice to read an excited and positive reaction! I am so looking forward to seeing this tour when it comes to me in July.

I had a look at the YouTube video of it. Wow, he's sounding pretty damn good. Wasn't that the one that was setting off alarm bells at the start of the tour?

For me, live in person in Vancouver, that was more about 'The Fool On The Hill'. For this song I guess the shock of the changed character of his voice in comparison with the last performances was too big, because he was never completely off-key during it, apart from a spare miss during the highest notes in the verses ("each DAY of the year") at times.

The 27 th of June is my daughters birthday and she is pregnant! She said to me-- "Mum, the best present you can give me that day, is that your are going to the concert with Paul in Herning. I know that is so much joy for you" Lovely Emelie The concert was magic! It was one of the best I have seen with him! Paul felt so glad and relaxed! The Danish public ( and some from other countries) were also very entusiastic. I am from Sweden but I feel we are a little bit more"stiff"! My favourite all time is Here There and Everywhere and when he sang that the time stood still!!My Valentine with a lovely video behind is also one favourite! The videos behind are very beautiful, especially behind Maybe I?m Amazed with Paul and little baby Mary. Oh yes--this was a great, fantastic evening. Thanks Paul for all Your Happiness and Your fantastic songs!! I have followed Beatles and Paul for 50 years! My concerts and more...
