Okay everyone, first one to find and post a link to audio of this song gets a gold star!
-
For the love of God, let's hope it's better than the Frog song. That song nearly destroyed Paul's legacy.
-
I actually think the frog song is good. You have to remember it was for children and part of the Rupert animation. In my view the animation and song are both well done.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with We All stand Together.

I Approve. I actually think We All Stand Together is a great children's song.
-
I have seen the movie trailer. When can we hear the song?
-
I've been looking for an audio link, but no luck. If and when it exists someone will post it on Steve Hoffman's forums right away, but no sign of it there yet, though the announcement of the song has been discussed. I strongly suspect the bit of piano at the end of the trailer is from the song -- just sounds very Paulish to me -- but that's just a guess.

Same here, it's one of the least harmful songs I've ever heard. Don't know why people have decided that that song is the pinnacle of Paul's post Beatle career

They don't think it's the pinnacle, just the opposite, they think it is the nadir of his post Beatle career! (Along with Mary Had A Little Lamb!)

We all stand together Great Lyrics Great tune Great arrangement Great video What's not to like. Yet people slag Paul off for as if it was the only thing he'd done. Yet I don't here them slang off the Beatles for doing yellow submarine. Yes it's a children's song and there seems to be an attitude of he should not do it because he is a rocker. But that is missing the point, Paul is not just a rocker. The best thing about Paul is his versatility, you don't know what he is going to do next. Look at some of his recent output. Kisses on the bottom album, oceans kingdom, electronic arguments and cut me some slack. It's hard to belive that one person can be responsible for such diverse projects.

We all stand together is superb. Everything about it.

_____________________________________________________ And Paul McCartney with a little help from Donavan with the lyrics was the primary Beatle writer of Yellow Submarine. Songs like We All Stand Together and Yellow Submarine show the great versatility of Macca. If they were the main type of music Macca wrote I could understand the criticism but Paul is all over the place in various music genres which makes him one of the greatest musicians/composers over the last 60 years or so.

Absolutely a great song...they should build on that theme, from an early age, with young children. Add to that, Love Song to the Earth... Love is All You Need and Give Peace a Chance...start children thinking about how we are all one sharing this Earth, together!!

Exactly my point .
